Responsibilities

 

Verify work orders and perform quality checks on materials prior to loading

 

Safely load and unload all materials using company-provided truck and forklift

 

Communicate with the Project Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Homeowners in regards to scheduling installations, repairs, or punch work

 

Perform demolition of existing countertops/backsplashes, without causing damage to existing drywall or cabinetry

 

Remove scratches and fill chips that may have happened during the installation process

 

Perform on-site measurements as required by Residential Project Manager

 

Collect signed Project Acceptance Form upon completion of the project

 

Respond to any on-site requests as outlined in Universal Stones’ policies and practices

 

Clean all dust and caulking residue upon completion of installation

 

Apply stone sealant to all natural stone upon completion of installation

 

Remove all waste and debris from project site

 

Perform any requested Warranty work as outlined in Universal Stones’ Limited Warranty

 

When there are no scheduled installations, Installer is to report to the Residential Project Manager or Warehouse Manager and perform requested duties as needed. Duties may include, but are not limited to: polishing, rearranging slabs, unloading containers, or performing Quality Assurance reviews of completed jobs

 

Adhere to all company safety procedures and practices at all times

 

Ensure timely and thorough job completion

 

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
